Swimming Instructor/Pool Attendant at Höörs Bad och Sportcentrum

Höörs Bad och Sportcentrum is the facility for those who enjoy swimming, wellness, and sports activities. In our facility, we conduct swimming lessons, school swimming programs, and water training.

In the swimming hall, there is a 25-meter pool with five lanes, a smaller pool for activities such as water aerobics, a hot tub, a children's pool, a steam room, and a water slide.

Our intention is to provide a pleasant, clean, and safe environment for visitors to our facility. In our operations, we focus on clean swimming, safety, and friendly service.

Höör is located in the heart of Skåne, has good train connections, beautiful nature, 17,000 inhabitants, and a steady population growth. With around 1,400 employees, Höör municipality is the largest employer. Many of our staff commute here.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a swimming instructor/pool attendant, you will conduct swimming lessons, supervise swimming, clean, and perform common tasks within the swimming hall's activities. We offer a varied and independent job that requires you to take a lot of personal responsibility.

Important qualities include being service-minded, flexible, self-sufficient, and having good collaboration skills.

We operate every day of the week, both day, evening, and weekend. Scheduled staff work every other weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

Good swimming skills are a requirement. You will undergo a lifeguard test with us at the facility.

Mandatory requirements:
Trained swimming instructor within SLS or equivalent
Trained in some form of water training
Experience working in a swimming hall

OTHER

The position will be filled subject to the necessary political decisions being made and that it is not needed for internal use.
